Athens poster

Type specimen poster made with Susan Kare’s forgotten MacOS system font Athens.

Originally this typeface, created in the 80’s, was hand drawn on graph paper by shading in individual squares.

To celebrate this concept, the alphabet on the poster is constructed entirely out of squares in varying sizes.
